Hi, I’m Buckinghamshire family photographer, Tanya Aldcroft.
I have two young boys and know how important it is to capture special moments with them as life is so busy and they are growing so quickly. I live and grew up on the Hertfordshire Buckinghamshire border and feel so lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful Chiltern Hills which is why I shoot outdoors.
I love capturing joyful families, on my outdoor adventure sessions, where the kids can play and be themselves and you can spend quality time with them making memories and celebrating all that is unique about your family.
What I offer:
Photo shoots are bespoke to your family’s needs so can be on location in Herts, Beds or Bucks or at your home.
Family photo shoots last an hour and the session fee is £60. For £75 you can opt for an extended family shoots with grandparents, siblings and the cousins (lasting approximately 90 minutes).

YOUR FAMILY’S SHOOT

I love meeting families and photographing them having fun together. This is why I choose to do outdoor adventure sessions – the countryside is the best playground for your children as I can capture them being themselves. It’s always an honour to capture a moment in a family’s story, watching them run, laugh and love. The best photos I take are when your family is happy and relaxed, making for great natural images.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Below are some FAQ, but if you have any further questions before booking, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Where will the photo shoot be?

I have a range of locations I use in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire which I can discuss with you. Location will depend on where you live, the season and time of day we are shooting.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

I will always do my best to reschedule in the event of bad weather, but I tend to go ahead if there is light rain or showers.

 

Do you give guidance on posing?

I give some prompts on how to pose, but because I focus on lifestyle photography a lot of the images I capture are very playful and relaxed so the kids have a lot of fun playing games and it gets the best out of them. I always want to deliver a wide range of images for you, and children rarely sit still so we have lots of fun running and swinging!

 

Can you give advice on what to wear?

Depending on the time of year I give advice on what to wear in my ‘what to expect’ guide which you will receive when you book your shoot. For example, bluebells look best with white/grey and pastels, whilst an autumn shoot needs a different, warmer palette. You don’t have to match either, but it helps if family members coordinate.

 

When will I get my images?

I aim to deliver your online gallery within 2 weeks of your shoot. You will have an online password protected gallery that you can then order your prints from.
