Hi, I’m Tanya and my superpower is putting people at ease. I‘m not just clicking a button – my job is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera so you can be yourself without the cringe.
I’m passionate about giving my clients the confidence to share their brand visuals. Video is one of the most powerful tools you can use to help you compete in your market and stand out from the crowd. Showing your face and personality is what builds trust and helps you find your ideal clients.
On your shoot, I will help you to be yourself by gently prompting and directing you through your session to fill you with the confidence you never knew you had!
As an established brand photographer, I knew that I wanted to offer my clients more so they could reach their full potential. I invested in myself and enrolled onto a video course with Vikki Hutton and her team at Featured Studio, who are experts in their field working with women’s brands and female founders. Vikki’s course was incredibly comprehensive and included an in-person learning day in a studio with a real client.

Every video shoot is bespoke to your business needs, but the general process goes a little like this…
If you’re interested in video, please just pick up the phone and let’s have a chemistry call – tell me about your business. I’ll tell you about my offers and how I work, then we’ll see if we gel.
When you’re happy to proceed with a video shoot, we’ll have a more in-depth chat. I want to find out more about your brand and what plans you have for the future. I want to know what you’d like your video to do for your business. From here, we can work out more of the details around your shoot, with me guiding you all the way.
We’ll book a date for your shoot, then I’ll send you a guide with all the information you need and how to prepare (think location, outfits, props etc).
I pride myself on your experience, so the shoot day itself will be a relaxed and fun one (because, frankly, I want to have fun too). I will, of course, support you (and your inevitable nerves) every step of the way.
I will then edit your footage ready for you to share how awesome you are!

How do I know what package I need?
Following a discovery call on what you want your video to achieve, we will discuss all the possible options and what will fit your requirements best.
Where will we film?
Location is something we discuss to make sure it’s brand appropriate and can serve our needs. We can potentially use your home or hire an appropriate studio if needed. I have the relevant gear, such as lights, to help maximise the space we choose.
Do I need a script?
No, though it helps to have an outline of what you want to say, and this will help me to direct you throughout your shoot. A script can make things feel a bit forced so I will prompt you if you’re talking to camera and make whatever you’re saying come across naturally.
What if I forget what to say?
Don’t worry, this is where I can help to put you at ease, and it’s totally normal to be nervous about talking to camera. Nothing is live, so we can pause, retake and tweak as we go. The final edited version will be polished and professional.
Where can I use my video?
This will all be part of the shoot planning, but as an example, for shoot add-ons, filming will be done in portrait mode ready to use on socials. Courses and longer brand videos will be filmed in landscape and can be cropped for socials so you will get both formats for using on diffierent platforms.
When will my video be ready?
Edit time can take up to 4 weeks. Short-form clips are likely to have a quicker turnaround, it just depends on your project.
Do you give guidance on how to pose?
Absolutely! It’s something we will work on throughout your shoot to give you a varied catalogue of images. People often feel awkward in front of the camera or don’t know what to do with their hands so I use a range of techniques to help you relax and get natural photos.
