MINI HEADSHOT SESSION AND SOCIAL
I’m really passionate about giving women the confidence to show the face behind their business and I love meeting like minded businesswomen and hearing their stories. I hear all the time from my clients that they hate having their photo taken, so with these sessions I aim to make the experience social and fun, which in turn makes you so much more relaxed. I also want business owners to have awesome professional headshots even if they don’t have the budget for a full bespoke branding shoot.
Capture and Connect is an opportunity to connect with, support and cheerlead fellow businesswomen through a shared headshot session. You get your individual portrait in a relaxed environment, showing off your personality surrounded by a supportive and inspiring group. We follow the photo session with a coffee and social together and hopefully you’ll leave with some awesome new local biz buddies!
This is the perfect session for you if you just need a few updated headshots or you’re just starting out with your business and aren’t quite ready for a full branding shoot. It’s also great if you’re on a budget or don’t have a lot of time and if you just want to test the waters to see what a shoot is like. The added bonus is you get to meet like minded people, make connections and grow your network.
These sessions could not be any further from your standard stuffy corporate headshot. They are full of fun, laughter and magic! My superpower is to put you at ease to create genuinely joyful images that are authentically you. You are awesome so let’s celebrate that!

Join for a one off session for £95
One hour shared photo shoot (approx. 15 minutes per person) and an hour(ish) for coffee afterwards.
Includes 3 digital images to choose from your gallery and the option to buy additional photos.

‘I thought Tanya’s Capture and Connect concept would be the perfect way to refresh my headshots at an affordable price, but I really had no idea how well it would work in other ways. The shoot flowed easily between locations that were scouted by Tanya in advance – they offered brilliant variety whilst being close enough together that we could stroll between them with ease. Having a break between mini shoots while others had their pics taken also gave me a moment to not only chat to others, but re-group and come back to the next set of photos with renewed energy, so that was an unexpected but brilliant benefit. The whole evening was so fun, light-hearted and energising. I would 100% do it again when I need another refresh‘

Below are some FAQ, but if you have any further questions before booking, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
WHERE WILL THE PHOTO SHOOT BE?
I use a variety of town locations in Herts and Bucks. I try to plan my dates and locations ahead of time so depending on when you want your shoot, you can choose accordingly which session you would like to join.
how long are the sessions?
2 hours – The photography part of the session is about an hour so each individual gets 15 minutes of shoot time, with everyone taking it in turns with the different backdrops as we walk around. Then we go for a coffee afterwards so that takes about an hour too.
WHAT SHOULD i WEAR?
You can wear whatever suits your personality and brand, ultimately I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Is is a mini shoot, but there is the opportunity to wear layers and get changed whilst other group members get their photos taken.
do you give guidance on how to pose?
Absolutely! I will gently guide you through your shoot, demonstrating how to pose and I use a range of techniques to to help you relax so we get natural photos. There will be sitting and standing poses so that you get lots of variety in your final gallery.
will I know who is in the group ahead of time?
Yes. If everyone agrees, I set up a what’s app group a week or so before the shoot so that everyone can share their details and do a virtual hello. Feel free to share ideas on outfits etc and I will give you details on exactly where to meet on the day.
can I ask for specific photos and poses?
Yes, I absolutely love to hear your ideas! Be as creative as you like, but keep in mind that we are on a time limit so please let me know ahead of time so I can factor this in. I’ve had people bring on brand props such as a bottle of prosecco and pom poms so anything goes, especially if it adds some extra personality and fun! We can also do interaction photos if this is relevant to your brand and you want to be captured talking to another member of the group.
can i upgrade to membership after i've had a single shoot?
Of course, I’d love that! Just let me know and we can adjust your package accordingly.
will i meeet different people with the membership?
Yes! Sometimes, you may meet people you’ve had a shoot with before, but sessions are open to members and non-members so hopefully you’ll make lots of amazing connections.
