Bluebell Mini Sessions 2023

Great Outdoors

Another wonderful year of beautiful bluebells with 11 families joining me for 20 minute mini sessions. I had 5 returning clients and 6 new clients which was a lovely mix. I love seeing my families grow and how the kids have changed, but I also love meeting new families, showing them my stunning bluebell location and demonstrating how fun a photo shoot can be!

It was a little bit stressful this year, and with a wet and cold March/April the bluebells were out a bit later. I always do thorough recce’s in the lead up to my shoots and ended up postponing one day of shoots to the following weekend and thankfully everyone could reschedule without too much trouble and they got amazing weather to boot!

I’ve already had some amazing feedback which means the world to me, especially when people say how well I captured their children’s personalities. One family loved their photos so much, they bought the whole gallery of images which is such a great compliment. For one family, it was my 8th year photographing them – the kids are so much bigger now and are great with the camera, but their two spaniels took a bit more wrangling!!!

“Tanya has done my daughters school photo also a bluebell session in the woods and it was the best experience. My daughter can be challenging and gets over excited so getting pictures can very difficult but Tanya has blown me away the beautiful pictures she has taken of us, she is great with children and makes you all feel at ease and ensures we all have fun. Highly recommend!!!!” – Kira

“We booked in Tanya, Aldcroft Photography for a bluebell shoot, as I was keen to capture some current fun photos of our girls. They absolutely loved working with her and had such fun, strutting their stuff and spinning round in their dresses. Tanya made them giggle and captured the fun they were having in a really natural way, that shows off both their personalities. I found it hard to choose just 5 images, as we loved them so much, so have ordered a couple more! Thanks so much Tanya for giving us these wonderful memories.” – Emma

Here’s a few more of my favourite photos below. The bluebells are at their best for a very short period so if you’re interested in a photo shoot next year, I recommend you join my mailing list so that you get priority booking and don’t miss out. Pitstone Family Photo Shoot

Pitstone Family Photo Shoot

Pitstone Windmill is pretty iconic in the local Bucks and Herts area, and when a local family wanted a photo shoot there, I jumped at the chance. I've taken photos here before, but with the windmill as my subject matter rather than a family. This was a returning...

Lily and the Family

Lily and the Family

I often get requests to include the family dog in photo shoots, but this was a first - being asked to include the family VW van! We had the most beautiful and warm autumnal day and Lily (the van!) looked perfect amongst the Ashridge countryside. However, it wasn't all...
