Brand Photography in Hertfordshire

Branding

I’m really passionate about brand photography and giving my clients the confidence to show the face behind the business. Headshots don’t need to be corporate and stuffy these days and there’s a lot you can reflect about your business and personality through great brand images.

With this in mind, it’s great to get out on location for branding and headshot photo shoots. You don’t have to worry about sorting out your own home ready for a shoot and you can get lots of variety in a town with a range of backdrops and a coffee shop stop too! I’ve done photo shoots in several locations in Herts including Berkhamsted, Tring and Old Hemel so I wanted to share with you some of the images I’ve taken so you have an idea of what kind of gallery you might get on a photo shoot with me.

Professional headshots are so important to help elevate your brand. It’s an investment in your business and really are very affordable, and look so much more professional than a selfie, especially when you’re offering a professional service like HR or accounting. Never under estimate the power of seeing the face behind the business too.

Berkhamsted

My first branding shoot was in Berkhamsted with HR Katie. Katie was just starting out with her HR consultancy and needed photos for her website and social content. We started off with coffee in Fred and Gingers to get some images of Katie at work, including some stock images and then headed over the road for photos around the local church which had a variety of backdrops.

Elsewhere in Berkhamsted we were able to capture some fun images with a pink wall as a backdrop as well as a multi-storey car park which has a plant wall! Katie bought quite a few outfit changes which worked really well and means she has a lot of variety in her gallery which she can use depending on what kind of client she is pitching to, like corporate versus SME.

Katie said, “I am absolutely thrilled with the results, as I now have so many high quality images to use for my business going forward.”

Hemel Hempstead

My photo shoot in Old Hemel and Gadebridge Park was for Wilder Ones apparel, owned by Nicky. I got some great headshots of Nicky wearing her own bestselling t-shirt as well as images for part of her summer collection which included a shirt and dress modelled by Kate and Claire. Gadebridge Park is perfect for some outdoorsy photos with a lovely white iron bridge which you can make a feature of. Old Hemel has a lot of character (a popular TV location because it’s so beautiful) and was perfect for getting some candid portraits with the town in the background.

Tring

I’ve had a few headshot photo shoots in Tring now. Like Berkhamsted, there’s some great backdrops in a small area so you get plenty of variety in your gallery. Local PR consultant Liz Oakley had some photos taken in Nonna’s with a coffee as she often likes to get out of the house to work in a different environment. This is a great idea if you have a really small office or you work from the kitchen table and you’d rather have some photos with your laptop or notebook in a more enticing environment! Liz had an hour long session so as well as the coffee shop, we got some photos around town, including an outfit change for Liz!

Rachel works for Mars and wanted some new headshots for her work profile and LinkedIn. She opted for a 30 minute mini shoot which included 5 digital images for £85 and she had 26 photos to choose from. Again, we had great options in Tring with some leafy backgrounds as well as interesting buildings.

Rachel said, “Thank you so much for these lovely headshots. I was nervous at first, but you really put me at ease and I can even go as far to say that I had fun doing the shoot, thanks again, I really love them!

Pitstone Family Photo Shoot

Pitstone Windmill is pretty iconic in the local Bucks and Herts area, and when a local family wanted a photo shoot there, I jumped at the chance. I've taken photos here before, but with the windmill as my subject matter rather than a family. This was a returning...

Lily and the Family

I often get requests to include the family dog in photo shoots, but this was a first - being asked to include the family VW van! We had the most beautiful and warm autumnal day and Lily (the van!) looked perfect amongst the Ashridge countryside. However, it wasn't all...
